Comprising the three upper floors, the award winning Brodies LLP office is designed to WELL building standards, to enhance the health and wellbeing of those working in, and visiting Capital Square. The new office space aims to encourage conversation, collaboration and action. From virtual courtrooms, to dedicated training spaces, breakout zones and high-tech conference rooms, it provides an environment that inspires and enables Enlightened Thinking. For colleagues, smart working in a dynamic space, supported by the latest in workplace technology, design and fittings. This kind of environment optimises the sharing of ideas and collaboration on projects.

Arlico worked closely with Atelier Ten M&E consultants to undertake a full lighting design for the project, to ensure the correct lighting levels and emergency lighting compliance was achieved. Alongside the main contractor Sharkey UK, Arlico created a stunning made-to-measure lighting solution for Brodies’ cutting-edge new Edinburgh office.

The entire project was designed to offer daylight emulation, controlled using CASAMBI Bluetooth technology, so all fixtures were island tested prior to dispatch to ensure fitting-to-fitting communication was achieved; essential when using extruded aluminium lighting systems. Arlico HoopLA and Drum fittings create maximum visual impact and Spot H88 track mounted LED spotlights provide visual interest and accent lighting.
